About Me:

As an ordained Minister from the Universal Life Church of Modesto, CA, I've had the honor of performing weddings since 2004 in Colorado & Michigan.  (Please see some of the testimonials on the right side of the home page.)
I attended The Infinity Institute in Royal Oak, MI to become a certified Hypnotherapist in 1989 and enjoyed a sucessful practice.  I taught a course in self hypnosis at the University of Michigan for several semesters in 1992.
I studied psychology at Eastern Michigan University and
in the mid 90's studied the works of renowned author David Deida who teaches about the sexual and spiritual relationship between men and women.  Every woman should read his book: "It's a Guy Thing: An Owners Manual for Women" to understand how men tick!
Combined with a lifetime of working with people in varied occupations from bartender to antiques dealer, I have a deep understanding of the mental, emotional and psychological workings of people and an adept at counseling them.
I love my career as a wedding officiant especially because it allows me to work with couples to create the perfect ceremony for them and I'm grateful to be a part of the most romantic day of their lives.

Member of the following associations:
Over the past 5 years I have collected over 32 pages of readings, poems, vows, etc. (both Secular & Religious), to put together my Ceremony Builder.
It walks you through the Ceremony step-by-step so you can choose from 108 selections to create a unique and personalized Ceremony that will perfectly express yours and your fiance’s beliefs and the love you have for one another.
It's so important to me that when the two of you are standing at the altar, holding hands and looking into each other's eyes, the words that I say to unite you in marriage are chosen by you and are meaningful to  you.

In the over 300 weddings I’ve performed, I don’t just show up to read the ceremony & fill out the license. I arrive early, make sure everyone knows their role and provide whatever assistance I can. I lace gowns, straighten veils, pin flowers, tie shoes & ties, find misplaced items, deliver messages, give pep talks, coordinate with DJs, set up props, encourage children, dry tears, calm nerves and whatever else I can do to help.  Because I recognize what an honor it is for you to have chosen me for your most important day and I will do whatever I can to ensure that it is everything you dreamed of.
